Sir,
The bearer of this letter Captain Lutyens[^1] of his Majesty's 20<sup>th</sup> regiment relieves Captain Nicholls[^2] of the 66<sup>th</sup> in the duty of orderly officer at Longwood. Captain Lutyens is desirous of being presented at Longwood House, and I shall be obliged by the favour of being informed if an opportunity will be afforded for his introduction.
