Sir,
I do myself the honour to acquaint you for the general information of the several persons who compound the family of Napoleon Bonaparte, that in pursuance of instructions from the British Government, I propose he inter his body on Wednesday the 9th instant with the honours due to the highest military rank.
It is my desire to be made acquainted with any testamentary disposition he may have left.
I shall have the honor of communicating to you hereafter such arrangements as may regard your own return & that of the several other persons who compound his family here, to Europe.
