La Riboisière, je vous ai donné ordre<sup>[^1]</sup>
d'envoyer de Magdebourg sur Dresde 10 000 fusils prussiens,
4 000 mousquetons, 3 000 paires de pistolets et
1 000 sabres destinés à l'armement des troupes
polonaises<sup>[^2]</sup>.
Je vous recommande de mettre le plus grand secret dans cette mesure,
de manière qu'il n'y ait que le ministre du roi de Saxe<sup>[^3]</sup>
qui sache que ces armes sont envoyées à Varsovie. Je viens de
consulter mes états de l'artillerie ; il en résulte que j'ai
dans mes places d'Allemagne

sur ces états, à l'encre rouge, ce qui, je suppose, veut dire à
réparer, 7 000 fusils ; j'avais donc 33 000 fusils
étrangers dans mes places d'Allemagne. Faites-moi, dans la journée,
un rapport là-dessus, afin que je vous envoie des ordres ; car
je désire envoyer en Pologne une cinquantaine<sup>[^4]</sup>
