As a result of a request by the Government and as part of the Constitution de l’an VIII, the Conseil d’État was given the role of preparing and discussing the projects for French laws and regulations. Between 1800 and 1814, the Conseil d’État processed on average 5,700 or so dossiers per year.
The administrative correspondance of Vivant Denon
Dominique Vivant-Denon, the Directeur des musées during the Consulate and Empire periods, corresponded frequently not only with Napoleon but also with French museum professionals and artists. This corpus comprises more than 3,000 of his letters.

Partnership with the French National Archives
As part of both the "2021 Année Napoléon" celebrations and the partnership between the two institutions, the French Archives Nationales and the Fondation Napoléon are planning an exhibition of the outstanding pieces from the archives of the Imperial State Secretariat.
Partnership with the Institut de France
Under the aegis of the label 2021 Année Napoléon created by Fondation Napoléon, the Institut de France, the Fondation Dosne-Thiers and the Fondation Napoléon have signed a partnership protocol designed to highlight Masson papers held at the Bibliothèque Thiers.
New corpus of texts on Napoleonica
Napoleonica Les Archives is soon to offer access to a new corpus of texts, namely, the 1812 correspondance of two major players in the imperial government, Cambacérès and Lebrun.
